My method is to screenshot text conversations as they happen and put all printed receipts in a shoe box. It works surprising well but I also have a teammate that did the build book.
Just got home from Oreilly. It pays to go to the same store and talk to the same guy and at least make eye contact with the manager as much as possible. They just reprinted the receipts for every purchase all the way back to the day before I bought the wagon that I traded for the Miata, which is my racecar.
