I have hunted high and low, can't find a coilover conversion sleeve for a 2 1/4" diameter spring. Of course, 2 1/2" is everywhere but the smaller diameter is necessary to clear a remote reservoir cast as part of the shock. The shock currently has a cam type preload adjuster which can be slid off easily.

Anybody have any ideas?

Koni sells the parts for their coilovers to use 2.25" springs. Maybe they would work with what you are using, or you could make some up yourself on your lathe.

Might be worth calling Ground Control, they may have an option for you.

Ah, it does seem Koni has that option (1.65" ID) if it will fit the shock body... I trust their lathe work a lot more than I trust mine.

What's your I/D? Southwest Speed sells 1 7/8" ID springs, guessing OD would be darn close to 2.25"...

Springs are typically rated in ID. 2.25" is a bit less common than 2.5", but not too hard to find.
