Per just can't seem to shake the clown....
And then we had our 20 year reunion pic of when Pobst crashed my Firebird... Along with another racing friend Peter Schwartzott.
And then of course collecting the prize money from CRC. Thanks CRC!!! We were some of the very few that left Vegas with a lot more than we came with! That's my beautiful wife Rhonnie on my left.
It was a great time seeing some some old racing friends and of course some of the GRM staff. Oh, and there were a lot of cool cars and stuff I can't afford. The Amazing Johnathan show was a highlight, and strongly recomended if you like that type of off the wall humor.
Thanks again to everybody that voted for our CRC video and making this trip happen!

And here I thought you just had a slightly amusing/self-deprecating screen name. Little did I know . . .
Extra bonus points for the "sad clown" shot with busted racecar (matching pants & livery even!) I'm imagining a super-awesome black velvet painting right about now.

I was wondering when those would surface. Thus ends my bid for the 2012 elections.

By no means are you alone; A LOT of people are petrified of them. Reinforcing that was the (poorly-made)
Stepehen King-based movie, "It" (IIRC), "It" manifested itself as a clown, until the end when we found out what it really was: big spider!
Movie still creeps me out to no end.
FastClown, on the other hand, looks like a Happy Clown. And has a neat Mini.

Nice!
Say...did you ever model for John Wayne Gacy?
The AAPEX video interview was just posted... Link to video
Just like the good old days...
I wanted to play John Wayne Gacy in the movies but butt ugly clowns creep me out, and I would have to gain 200lbs.

I never made it far enough to find out "It" was a spider.

Nice to see the picture of Peter Schwartzott. "Professor" Peter was( and still is) a wizard with VWs for those that don't know. I always wanted to get over to South Wales(or Wales Center?) when I lived in the area, to pick his brain and lend a hand to learn from this master.
congrats mike......now we have to see the clown back in racing somehting cool, not just the challange

I would quit just yet, have you seen some of the clowns that are running?
I actually considered running for the Florida State Senate as the clown... My theme was going to be "If you're going to vote for a clown, vote for a professional clown." But then my wife didn't want me to do it, she figured I would either get shot or silently strangled by a Mime. Plus it costs about $7,000 to register, keeping us poor clowns out of the race.

I'd be willing to donate for the cause! Heck, I'd donate to a willing mime, too!
So let me get this straight... You're willing to help me get into office and then you'll hire a mime to silently strangle me?
You have that kind of effect on people, Mike.

Even though my money'd be on the clown, who wouldn't donate to watch a clown/mime deathmatch?
I'm in as long as I get a piece of the concessions.
