I watched a buddy do some exterior parts for his mom's car a week ago. It turned out very well after 2-3 coats. I was impressed enough that I ordered a couple of cans for my own project. If you search for "2k clear", you'll find some videos that will give you a good idea of what it's like.

No i haven't. I use regular paint products shot with a gun but remembered seeing the Eastwood spray can stuff.

I haven't tried it either but did look into quite a bit a while ago. When the cans are good it seems to give very good results. The problem is a lot of people have reported getting bad cans. Enough people that I had second thoughts based on the price being a little high not knowing if the product I got would work properly.
