i am not sure if any one caught the post about the amc spirit i bought about a week ago, turns out it had a few issues i did not car to deal with and is going up for sale this week. the springs are falling out the bottom of thier clamps and the perches are having issues along with series rust...sigh....i has the car checked out yesterday and that later that morning found me at the dodge dealer that hosted a car show a couple of weeks ago looking for for something else......now to figure out how to sell me damned soul for the next few years to pay for this monster that wasthe only thing they had that i could afford.....a 2006 chevy trailblazer......with the damn payments, insurance and gas i am going to not be able to much of anything else until i get a job that pays much better...so much for getting back into autocross this summer....
first the rodeo dies from rust, then spend 1700 on a bummed spirit, and then around 10g for this monster...sigh.....i am very much thinking about bashing head agaist wall right now.....at the very least the lastest issues of the zine brought my spirits up a bit in a different tread i posted about.
Man, my head hurts from trying to read this ...
We love our 4x2 '03 LS Trailbazer.
I loved my company car 4x4 '08 LS Trailblazer.
Not trying to be a douche, but couldn't you find anything cheaper than $10k?

+1, maybe I don't quite understand but I don't think I would have bought a $10k car I didn't even like just because it was the cheapest used car at the first dealer I went to. I don't even think I have spent half that much on my Mercedes and I have driven it almost every day for 2.5 years now with no mechanical failures that affected being able to drive it.
My head hurts. This is not the GRM way.

lots to choose from here ... http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/open-classifieds/
but.. yeah, I understand the need to have something NOW ...
wish this had come up a couple of weeks ago, Mom's '05 Neon was for sale (34k mi) for only $4000 (it sold in less than a wk)
I really should have taken a couple of days and looked around for somthing cheaper. But at the very least it has a hitch......not that I can afford any toys right now.....
I have two of three thing to make challenge....have tow rig, have spirirt for a few days and dlnt have for trip.....sigh...
You need to sell that thing and get an older Corolla/Prism, Civic, or Sentra. Those are the perfect pizza delivery vehicle (your profile says thats what you do). And, like you said, the hitch is worthless if you got no money to hook anything to it!!
