I'm not sure why, but I am intrigued by this car passing in a bank car lot daily. A  pristine outer, not yet checked out. No inspection yet. In appreciation, your thoughts. What would you do with it other than a grocery getter.

How soon till Robbie and yupitdidit chime in. Those two are big proponents of XJ awesome.

I have only seen one in the wild, it's like a Discovery for me, probably a bad idea but I don't care.  Just plane awesome looking.

A unicorn? Buy and figure out later. Sitting there for 4 weeks. Bargain? With limited facts, consider low mileage, probably easily used. Price range? Not crazy about the roof racks.

An 05 is after Ford scrapped the remains of the Jaguar designed chassis and re-did the whole thing.  I don't know a whole heck of a lot about them, but I'd bet it's got less character than the 03 and older cars.

Never seen one. Take a pic for lol. I don't particularly care for x350 xj's to be honest.

I saw an s-type estate in Europe once. Sexy

I didn't know they existed. Like R.O.U.S.s.

Even Google just wanted to show me X-Types.

You sure it's not an X-type estate?

Similar looking, but smaller...Still a unicorn.

I'd buy a tweed jacket, some corduroys, a pipe and drive it around. It's a good looking car.

I didn't think that an XJ estate was ever made or sold in the United States. I bet it's an X – type. If it is an XJ estate and you don't buy it you need to share the contact info with us!

Yeah, I'll echo what's been said above. If it really is an XJ, go for it. If it is an X-type, it is still a unicorn but nothing to write home about.

This is correct, Jaguar never officially made an XJ estate...anywhere. So it's either an X-type or a conversion.

You'll need to log in to post.
