2008 challenge..register? show up?

I have been searching, but for this year's challenge, do we just "show up" in FL or is there a pre-registration site that I missed?

Also, just for kicks, a "stock" miata - would/could it be even be mid-pack theoretically? Not that I am planning on bringing a stock miata, but in no way am I as ingenious as the past years top runners - however, participating would be a blast and I don't want to be ridiculed if I don't do crazy mods to whatever car I get.

I wouldn't really worry about how you place. The Challenge is more sideshow with a side of competition. Just have fun, drink, and BS with fellow forum-mates.

I think that statement is the confusing part.
