Shortest review ever, although I can't imagine what else I'd like to read about it. Weird that Lexus would think GRM would be the place to test out a new compact hybrid that differentiates itself from a Prius by being more plush...

Haven't driven this car and never expect to. That said, I imagine one reason (the principal reason?) GRM was given this car to evaluate is that Lexus/Toyota is HEAVILY marketing this as THE sporty hybrid, both in the U.S. and Europe. Talk about a total con...

The Lexus lineup has featured hybrids for a while, but here's their first model that's only available with gas-electric propulsion. Meet the CT 200h. Sorry, a straight-up gasoline-powered version is not available.

What exactly is it? It's more or less the Prius drivetrain fitted inside the Corolla chassis. It's topped off with a five-door wagon that invokes the Mazda3 and then equipped with some Lexus niceties.
