That front end looks like it's going to eat ball joints (or whatever they will be called) as fast as a twin I-beam Ford truck. Ball joints that move in only one axis do not last very long.

AWD was my favorite part of the concept...I am so glad they're bringing it to production, but without AWD it's a deal breaker. WTF GM?! This engine is awesome, I swoon at the thought of all wheel drive with it!!!

I like it. Wait... Holy crap, I never thought I'd say that about any Buick besides the GNX!

It looks like they're trying to go the route that Ford took with the RevoKnuckle to quell torque steer.
who is saying anything about losing AWD? jeez...have I got a bridge out west I want to sell you?!?!?11! sheeeesh
Granted, this info is nearly a year old now, and a lot can change, this is directly off of BUICKS WEBPAGE
4cylndrfury: The "future" page you linked to is a SHOW CAR (concept) that was shown a year ago. The link in the beginning of this thread is from right now about a car coming out next year. One of these is a dream, one of them is reality. It's still entirely possible that the "show car" with AWD would exist in another two years, but what GM has published is that they aren't coming to market with the AWD next year, but they are coming to market with the FWD GS. This is basically the same car they already sell with a few new doodads, manual trans, and a little more horsepower. The AWD+manual trans was the deal maker for me.
Of course, this begs the question, can the AWD parts from the European car be bolted into the FWD version?

I LOL'd at that last part. GM just got out of the "create a brand every time we need more cash" game, though.
I like the looks. And it's a Buick. Did I just say that?

Same except opel badges for me
I think I could live without AWD too. I think it would be a fun car to drive even FWD...even on the track.
GM, where everything is tuned at the Nurburgring.
