This Accord has four doors and a stickshift. Being the Sport line, it also has a few ticks more thrust than the rest of the four-cylinder lineup. Power in the Sport is up to 189 from 185, and torque increases a tick to 182 ft.-lbs.
What's it like to drive an economical, six-speed family sedan? Entirely forgettable. It was so entirely satisfactory at everything it did, no one on staff can remember driving it—few even remember seeing it in the parking lot. It was, by all odds, well designed, quiet, somewhat sporty and well-appointed. It likely looks great in any suburban driveway. But it did not summon up visions of backroads and race tracks.
