Yeah it's gonna be pricey, buy holey moley ancient roman donkey balls, does it look like it will perform magnificently!

Also, the last one that was released was in 2006 I think, which was right before the new chassis, so is this a sign that a new Mini chassis is coming out in the next year or two...?

Yes. Rumors have been floating around it'll be introduced later this year.
I really like the new GP, but dang it's pricey... the surprising thing about the old GP was when you added up the options vs. a similar optioned MCS JCW, the $31K MSRP was a good deal even without factoring in the unique body changes. I still regret not buying one new when I had the chance. The local NJ dealer had one on the floor at MSRP for months.
GP's still bring good money on the used market. I keep hearing 39K optioned out though.
I saw one at the Chicago Auto Show last weekend and it was listed at $42k...
I is dum, what does GP stand for?
I'm already looking for a suitable face slap pic since I'm sure it will end up being simply and obvious.
I remember the previous version but don't remember the GP moniker.
lulz at $35,500 base price. oops, that was a clubman.
I like the old one better as in the Classic.
