It's the perfect drink. The Pine-ness tastes like Christmas.
The quinine in the tonic wards off malaria and the lime wards off scurvy. What more could you want?

I feel that this statement could encompass a lot of things on this forum.
And you can drink it in massive quantities and not feel like death in the morning!
You may still be hammered in the morning, but you'll feel good!
I was drinking Gin for awhile, and I liked it. But I quit drinking it, and I like drinking so there must have been a reason.

I need to practice my gin drinking. I've been drink in a lot of whiskey/whisky and it makes me mean and I start causing trouble. Last thing I need is my ability to cause trouble and the lack of a filter whiskey provides.

We can practice next weekend. The trick is getting the G&T mix down.
If i'm throwing down, i find my perfect method is:
1 - 750ml bottle of New Amsterdam, full.
1 - 750ml bottle of New Amsterdam, empty.
Make two half-full bottles of New Amsterdam.
Slice up 1-2 limes and stuff them in the bottles.
Fill rest of the way with tonic. Put cap back on, turn upside down and back once.
Drink straight from bottle like a frat boy. Finish both bottles for a guaranteed good time.
Maybe I will be a sophisticated drunk with the sirs and stuff.
Hmm, odd thread. Not at all what I was expecting.
At this point in the challenge there should have been a small group drinking in the parking lot until midnight ish last night. Today would have found a few more cars and people appear in the morning hours as I made my way to the car wash to start cleaning the crap out of my car. Next would be buying mass amounts of beverages, alcohol water etc then head back to the hotel to enjoy the rest of the day.
I just landed in JAX and am picking up a rental... Maybe I should enter it as exhibition, it should be pretty quick
