Maybe it's a rod, maybe its a lifter but either way, it is not up for the intended trip of driving it back home; 1,000 miles, to Ohio, tomorrow.
Sold it for $750 to another competitor.

I am unburdened and this car was $815. We were budgeted at $1006.49 with another $500 of new tires (not in budget.)
On happier notes, I was ecstatic to win Challenger's Choice.
Our goals were:
1) since we knew we could not win the race, we had to win the party.
2) be memorable.
We feel we succeeded .
Seated next to me for the banquet was Jeremy Randolph (pimpm3).
Early on, he committed as a team member of the '95 M-edition Miata.
Two months ago when the Q45 came along, he offered the car up and joined on the Infiniti team.
Last week, he then also took a major position on the Fiero Parking Lot build team.
This over-achievement did not go unrecognized as he personally took home the Spirit of the Event Award. Well deserved.
Anyone see concours results or the final OA spreadsheet?

I did shuffle it, but not to the left.
I shuffled the Mumpkin to the front parking lot, 'cause I figured the last place I wanted to be parked was next the the Fiero all night while they drank and did a rattle can spray job through the wee hours of the morning.
Mumpkin doesn't look good in grey.
The Fiero did. Well sort of. Eventually. If you don't count the whole "put the decals on first, then mask around them" thing.

It was a lot of heavy lifting but here you go.
Note that they also changed both cars over to right hand drive.

Results will be up shortly after we're all back at the office and have had a chance to audit them and write press releases. It'll be soon.

You might be looking at it wrong, the theme may have been the spectacular failure but the people loved the Q45.
But the leisure jogging suits totally ruled. I have a feeling we'll see more of them in the paddock next year.
