Have a 2000 F-250 that was sideswiped in January. Insurance company cut me a checks or repair. I have a takeoff bed from a 2014 ready to go on. Looking for doors and planning on having cab corners repaired and rest of truck painted to match.
Doors are rusted to hell and are getting replaced. I have a line on 2014 fronts from a wrecked truck. I planned on retaining the newer mirrors (turn signals, yay) but swapping to the 2000 door panels. The new doors are off of a crew cab, but the truck is a supercab. Am I a window switch away from making things work? Or are the new switches on a CAN bus, forcing me to revert back to the 2000 door panels? Are there any other headaches I might run into?
Also on the hunt for rear doors, but I doubt those will be an issue. If I switch to 14 fenders, that would force me to swap to the complete front end with header panel and such, correct?
