I am. That event sells out very quickly, usually mid way through the previous year. I am looking forward to it again.
Hour and a half away, and sadly i wont be there. Maybe next year.
this yr was the fastest sell out ever ... according to one source .... when the general public sale became available .. the ticket site (on line, maybe not via phone) shut down with overload in a matter of seconds
if you ever do get on the privileged early purchase list (as in, you've managed to purchase from Daytona, not on here) then you should NEVER EVER let the early buy in period slip by .... as seen on our forum, you can always find someone to buy yours if you end up not able to go ... but if you don't take advantage of the early buy in, you'll be dropped from that list
I was on "the list" this year and got a number of emails form Daytona encouraging me to purchase my renewal tickets and I kept putting it off. They actually called me a couple days before they went on sale to the general public and asked me if I wanted to just do it over the phone. I'm not saying that procrastinating is a good idea, but I sure am glad the fine folks at Daytona Intl Speedway did me a solid.
