Pleasant surprise. Panhard was listed with no title. It has one, which should make it easier to sell the body whole.
I'm going to try and get pics up later. I picked up the studebaker and my buddy with a towing company picked up the panhard. I have to do some carpentry for him now.
Studebaker for buying off pics is a pleasant surprise. It was blasted prior to paint and the undercarriage is gorgeous and in black paint. Very little filler, straight 8 looks like it would start if i put a battery in it. The auction company guy told me it was the bargain of the whole lot.
I'm curious to see if this fall brings an explosion of oddball cars on Ohio Craigslist pages as various bidders decide they've gotten in a little deeper than they thought. That's a lot of out of the ordinary vehicles to be released into the wild in one weekend.

There were lots of out of state plated trucks/trailers loading up

Bummer, I was hoping I might score a deal after I get back from the challenge.
The tires on the Kadett were flat and I had to roll it off the trailer so I put on the closest set of wheels and tires so I didn't have to dig some out of the basement.
Layers of New Mexico dirt on everything, even inside the hubcaps. The underside is cleaner and less rusty than the topside.
I bought nothing and generally kept my wallet away from the event. I did not have a bid card.
Mostly my reasoning was that I still have two Salvage vehicles in my driveway but the are both ready for their Weds appts of 12:00 and 12:30 to turn the back into rebuilt titles.
I really didn't need anything of this auction and magnatude of rebuild right now.
Curious, how much did the Chrysler TC by Maserati sell for? Also, the 1980's 2 door Chrysler Imperial?
