The new ZL-1 is not for drag racing.
It's basically a supercharged Corvette with a back seat.
I'm thinking here of 1969 and 1967, when the terms were introduced. (And technically ZL-1 was the engine, not the car... o'ell!)

It looked to me like the auto did all the work. I just returned from the Dragon, Cherohala, and Moonshiner in my 911with PDK. I left it in sport auto most of the time and the tranny downshifted and double downshifted blipping the throttle each time. Worked perfectly. I have no doubt the auto in the Camaro would up and downshift on it's own when needed in a performance situation.
