Involved. This is every bit as huge an undertaking as PLB #1 which was the $2014 Fiero. Engine swap and non-running as it arrived in the parking lot.
After:
$2015 was less intense with a fully running and driving Lincoln Mark 8. All it needed was weight reduction that came in the form of full interior removal.
Before:
$2016 was The Gusto, The Ghettocet. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/going-for-the-gusto-this-year-with-the-last-chance/111480/page11/
Still a huge project but had more to do with taking parts off than putting on. Was a fully running/driving car to begin with.
For $2017 it was just supposed to be the lowering of a truck. Not as easy as it seems...

We thought we had the correct harness for the supercharged engine.
We don't.
We are now trying to build a harness from scratch with old wire and modified connectors from the wrong car, and incomplete wiring diagrams.
Anyone have a supercharged wiring harness they can get to Gainesville by 7 AM?
It's VERY upsetting that the Fiero is Sitting in my shop and not next to the toyo, it's painted, running and all but ready.
NEXT YEAR !

What do you do when you need a 24 pin ECU plug, and you have a 18 pin plug?
You grind the 18 pin plug to align with the first 18 pins, then grind another one down until there’s nothing left but 6 pins.

We are borrowing the superglue from Tom Suddard.
That means it already belongs to GRM! Haha!
Looks like fun, pretty cool the hotel doesnt mind that in their parking lot.
Definitely makes anyone want to make sure to stay there and give them your money vs anywhere else
Bummer that the harness plan didn’t work. Hopefully you guys can get one sorted! How’s the team morale?
