I recently purchased a fully loaded Ford Edge SEL AWD 2021. I had originally considered the Bronco Sport, but it was too small for my needs. So I decided to take the Edge for a test drive for homologation cars. I was really caught off guard! I am absolutely in love with this updated car. It is equipped with great safety features. The interior is very spacious and comfortable. The seats are very secure and the Active x material is easy to clean. I think the layout of the cabin is very well thought out and intuitive. There are soft-touch materials throughout the cabin. The 12" Sync 4 infotainment system is great. Love the wireless Apple Car game. The 2.0L turbo engine is frisky. I have to climb steep hills, and the "edge" glides right up without strain.

Back to the Edge ST. I was thinking it makes a lot more sense if you think of it as a value priced (and way more attractive, IMO) alternative to the sporty German crossovers.

I saw one of the new BMW XwhateverMSportsomething things the other day and... well... ew.

It's funny, while I have no need for one, I have always liked the BMW coupe/crossover X5M's.  I think they look awesome.  The Edge is a good, innofensive looking vehicle, but it stands out in no way.  Somehow BMW are managing to make their stupid massive grill work on the larger vehicles.

The X5M looks insane. Low slung and has those little extra arches over the wheel wells. Exhaust is also on point.

They have a package, dont know if its the competition or whatnot but the thing is nearly all blacked out. Looks even better than the regular M version.

But holy moly are they pricey. Last i saw they tickled over $100k for a moderately packaged version?
