My 2nd year participating in this event. The hill changed due to pea gravel resurfacing on the return road of last year's course. Despite some less than ideal weather in the morning when I had my runs I drove fast enough for 6th overall this year.
That's a very good video! Course looks fun, and the small block sounds great!
Good video. You don't seem to have a lot of wind noise problems on the video - which I do. It looked like an interesting mix of cars there. Too bad you weren't able to get in a run in the dry but it still looked fun.

Sealed GoPro box vs the vented one is the difference in wind noise. I had to use only sound from the fender mounted because apparently the B pillar mount, though sealed was rattling off the side of the car. I don't know anything about sound editing so I just didn't use it. I will say the sound (exhaust, tires, etc) is better with a vented box but the wind noise sucks.
I feel pretty good about my run. The LMP3 car had extra aero and engine to be LMP2 fast (leauge of its own) but not a "vintage" car as this event is. Some exceptions were made this year due to not selling out entries. Another of the top 5 I believe was a early 2000's 911 which also didn't fit "vintage" either but it was a backup car and not very much ahead of me. #2 a Tubro E36 was out of reach at 7 seconds ahead but #3 was about 4 sec. I might have had that but...maybe not. I felt like I got 90-95 percent out of the damp run that a dry would have offered and I was surprised it held up for 6th against the afternoon runs.
What an eclectic mix. The Lazenby Hawk FF is a favorite of mine, brilliant design.
Oh man, that hill would be fast without the hay bales. When most of those cars were new it would have run that way too.
