That's not really a surprise. It makes sense since CGR has to downsize, and MSR as a smaller team can use all the engineering help they can get.

Romain Grosjean did not cover himself with glory today.

Neither did the people in the Indycar trailer.  A real WTF moment on the Fittipaldi penalty.

Dixon and CGR always get the benefit of the doubt whether right or wrong.

I'm just getting into today's race but these guys can't have a clean start to save their lives.

Quite an interesting race today.  Lots of mechanicals, lots of unplanned wall visits.

Will Power sure will regret that little extra throttle application.

Almost had a VERY tight final race.  Still will be a bit interesting since Palou is not really that great at ovals.

Not exactly feeling bad for Newgarden.

My suspicion is all the team engineers will be taking a close look at their transmissions (two of what seems like the same strange failure in the same race, for the first time this late in the season!).

Amazing that Power kept it going after the spin. It is fun to watch a championship fight without any ridiculousness stages or playoff BS. I think team Penske drivers hardly making it easy for each other to close up the championship.

Unfortunately the championship was sealed up at the beginning with the Willy P belt problems but the race had some excitement, especially at the end. On to next year, it's looking like there will be some drivers with out the seat with the teams preparing for the charter system. It will be interesting if Rossi will get a seat, and who will takes the seats at Prema. I believe Herta will now qualify for F1 Superlicense now that he finished second in the championship.

That was a very good race with plenty of side-by-side action. The old DW12 can still put on a show sometimes.

Rossi keeps insisting he has a seat, he just can't say yet. It has to be RLL, right? I can't imagine what else is left.

I agree that sponsorship wise RLL can recruit to get the money. Prema might have the money but I think they are going with Schwarzman and another F2 graduate. Juncos might be the wild card because they do no have Romain or the second seat signed. We know that DCR won't have their driver lineup until the week before 2025 Round 1. (Not hating just stating facts.)

FBI agents carry out operation at RLL headquarters "The source of the investigation is alleged to involve a former employee of the Andretti Global IndyCar team, who left the team to join RLL in a senior engineering role, and the alleged transfer of intellectual property from their former team to their current team." On a series that is spec, this seems like the biggest waste of time for the FBI.

Gotta admit, my first thought was that Bobby was doing some kind of tax shenanigans, but now it's IP theft from another team? Why would the FBI care about that?

Another interesting take is that Marshal Pruett was there the day before taking pictures....still crazy on the why.

Because IP theft is a federal law issue, therefore the FBI.  Meaning that the info taken was protected by some federal recognition- like a patent.  Pretty much the same as if a Bosch employee took some IP from Visteon.

Huh. I was not aware of that.
