I'm going to autocross my new 3 and am hoping there is someone here who has been auto crossing a 4th gen and can help me with set up and parts source.

Thanks!

I haven't heard of anyone here autocrossing a new 3. The first gen yeah, but not this new one. So, unfortunately, I don't think you're going to get much first hand experience from this forum.

Which trim do you have, FWD, AWD, turbo?

Have you checked out Cork Sport? They will probably have some performance parts.

If I were you, I'd just get some good tires and start there. Then if you want to go for more, upgrade shocks and springs, camber plates, and wider wheels/tires. I have no idea what class the fourth gen 3 is in, but I can share that from checking nationals results, the car is not going to be competitive in any class most likely, so it's whatever is going to be fun. If you can get enough tire under it, you might do okay locally.

I autocrossed with a guy in the previous gen 3 and he had coil overs, 255s, and an intake and he was having fun, I think in STH class. IIRC, most parts were from Corksport. The car drove well. But was also getting smoked by a Focus ST in GS, which was the hot car in the class back then. And he was giving up probably 60-80 hp on the ST, so there's that.
