What are my options in a 205-60-R13? Not road race tires, but all seasons. All I can find is Federal Formozas. Pretty much what I'm looking for, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Car is a FB RX7 and the tires will be driven around the neighborhood, rallycrossed, and autocrossed for a bit until I get new wheels that are more modern in sizing.
in a 60 series everything you find will be track rubber
What are my other size options for a 13x7 on an FB RX7?
The white letter Cooper Cobra is still around in that size if you want some mullet cred.

Anything in that size is either a rim protector or race rubber ie Hoosier.
Coker Tire was going to start a line of Phoenix 3011(?) but if you have to ask how much they cost, you cannot afford Coker.

Now THAT is what I'm talking about!
A set of those on panasports........
Anything else I'm missing?
The Cooper Cobra is a fine DD/Crusing tire, but not a track (or winter) tire. Turn the letters in if you want to be stealthy.
i have federal 595's right now. In fact I'm about to try to sell them and my rims. Not really a winter tire though.
Stealthy? No, I do not want to be stealthy. All I'm looking for is a DD beater tire to get the car out there and road legal. And spend some time getting used to it on dirt and asphalt and whatever else I can find. I find it's always good to have a set of backup wheels anyway, and this is going to be that set.
I've been pretty pleased with the 595's for autocross.
959 would work but I'm afraid it will be too soft for rallycross. I don't have any need forma winter tire, I'm in Texas.
I only had one set of Cooper Cobras, which I got used (they came on some wheels I bought); they may have been old and hard(er).
I used them for autocross on the 2002, and it was comical.
But they were totally round and black, and kept the wheels off the pavement.
Toyo R888?
Nevermind not going to work for rallycross.
My experiences have also all been with used Cooper Cobras and they were so mind bendingly terrible that I never sought out a new set to compare them with.
Certain cars can really pull off the white letter thing though.
edit
Oh holy crap they can!!!
In reply to ditchdigger:
According to Cooper's website, they offer no tires in 205/60-13.

I just bought some Formozas in 165/50/15 for the rear of my Insight (pickings are slim in that size as well!!) and have no complaints so far.
I think they will do what you want.
I don't know if they still have it but I used to see BFG Radial T/As and Sumitomo HTR200 in those sizes.

And another one bites the dust. I swear that tire was around 2 months ago.

The Sumi HTR200 has been gone for a few years now. Nothing took its place.
Toyo RA-1's or 888 are an option. Semi race but OK for all but ice and snow.

I know, and that does suck. I have been talking up small tires for a while with friends in the industry, but no one can justify the sizes--well, no one but Coker. We meet with them next week at SEMA.

I just wanted to retweet that.
The car comes with RA-1's but I have a rallycross 5 days after I get the car home that I desperately want to run with it. I'm thinking the Formosa's are my best bet. Other size wheels will be coming once I have the car and can make sure of measurements to have some made.
Why not find a second set of wheels before you get it back? I wouldn't think finding a set of stock FB wheels would be to difficult.
