I feel like a crazy person as every article about the 2021 Ram 1500 mentions how smooth the ride is with the coil springs all around, but it definitely seems to ride much worse than my 2018 F150.
anyone else notice any issues w these ?
thanks

They said the same thing about the GMT900 1-ton.
People are suckers and brains are easily fooled. What they're actually describing is NVH. You can take an old jalopy that rattles, bangs, and has an exhaust drone but has a marshmallow ride and most people will say that "the ride is terrible." Dad's 08 1-ton dually is bloody silent inside. You can't hear bumps, wind, or the big diesel under the hood. Brains translate that into a smooth ride, but in reality his truck rides like a wheelbarrow
It's the same phenomenon with bass-shakers. If you don't have the room in your car for a big subwoofer box, you can install a servo-operated vibrator under a seat. The vibes make your brain think you're hearing bass.
Hmmm. Not to be snarky, but how old are you? No firsthand knowledge, but older individuals tend to view modern vehicles as "harsh" and "jiggly" in comparison to older vehicles, particularly those individuals that can remember the rolling couches of the 1970's.
I know my uncle bought a Toyota Avalon, a car that should appeal to the mature buyer, and found the ride unacceptably harsh. He went so far as to source wheels in a non-stock size and put tires with taller sidewalls on them. Not sure how that all turned out.
