This ad says that this Infiniti rear end can be adapted to a 280Z. Is it a bolt in swap or is a lot fabrication?

it can also be adapted to fit a mustang or the international space station
the VLSD's are far less desirable and can be found in a number of nissan and infiniti's, to fit the s30 chassis however either takes a lot of cutting and welding or you buy a kit form techno toy tuning, modern motorsports or some other specialty supplier, then you just have to adapt the cv's to your stub axles...... unfortunately the easy bolt in better CLSD form the 87.5-89 300ZX Turbo is far more difficult to come by and tends to trade hands used in the $800-900 range, but sometimes you stumble upon one, I found one in a car in line to be crushed, for $150, it's been in 2 challenge cars so far
