Drug dealer in MA got busted and his car collection confiscated. Supras, S2000s, V8 M3s, Z cars...
We were looking at some of the current prices for the Supras and, wow, huge money. Granted one was bone stock and only 8169 miles.
He had a thing for E46 M3s, too.
I wonder what cars were kept by the police. The report I read said that 30 something cars were confiscated.
15% buyers premium for cars that you cannot inspect or have history. Screw that. 160K already for one of the supra's that just stupid money on something like this when you can pay 20% more and be 100% certian about what you are getting.
Must have been pretty good at selling to get all those cars.

These products sell themselves!
Pretty ballsy laundering money through a police auction.
In reply to wearymicrobe :
There are two days allotted for inspection, plus the morning of the auction and there are carfaxxes attached to each listing. Just a random review of a couple showed some pretty good history, ownership location and service details - at least until 2016.
Not arguing the point, but I’ve seen less background detail at some of the more popular online auction sites.
Why would anyone say that BAT could be used for money laundering? Why? /s
