4cyl/auto/4x4/4 door does not seem like a good place to start for on roading. If you really want to, I suppose it would be cool to lower it and stick a turbo on there.

2nd gen tracker is the 99-05. Vitara was the first of it's name brought to the US in 99. Vitara's had the old J20 2.0L 4cyl, the Grand Vitara's came with the 2.5L V6. Either one equipped with an auto would have a hard time drag racing a 3cyl Metro.
