Good timing, it's not as hot as usual but still humid with good rain chances.
Yeah, they didn't like playing second fiddle at Sebring. Nor surprised to see them run back to CotA.
They didn't like sharing a weekend with IMSA back in the day at CoTA, either. Hopefully with "cross-pollination" of the LMDH/Hypercar and global GT3 spec cars, the two groups might play a little nicer together in the future.
But that's likely a pipe dream, given that historically, sports car sanctioning bodies rarely miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

Wish the test sessions were livestreaming somewhere.
I do wish WEC got more time in the spotlight here in the U.S. Fortunately, you can see their races live on Max.
I can tell you, those combined IMSA/WEC weekends at COTA were LONG. It was usually 95+ degrees. I loved all of the racing but it was just too much. I like the WEC and have worked a lot of their races over the years. It's been a fun experience for sure.
