Gah! Looks like I've been had. Oil looked good when I bought it. Topped off the coolant the other day which made the radiator leak very obvious on the top of the radiator. Unfortunately after driving it a few times I noticed the oil getting milky so I think it has some sort of blown head gasket.
I had already replaced the belt, idler pulley and filter. Trying to unload it on craigslist before calling junkyard.
For $300 you've not been had! It's still a $700 truck

Yeah I can't complain for $300, just seems suspicious how quickly the oil turned milky. I have around $360 into now so if anyone is interested let me know and I'll make you a good deal. Otherwise I'm going to scrap it
just toss it on CL for $600 and let someone offer you 400.
I wouldn't be surprised if the issue is a timing cover gasket or intake gasket. Realistically, if you want to fix it, you could replace those and the head gaskets in around 12 - 15 hours of work with the motor in the truck.
