So, today I noticed Pegasus has a 32/36 DGV synchronous linkage conversion--making the progressive carb a synchronous carb.

I have a 32/36...DFEV...any chance the synchronous kit will swap over? I haven't seen any mention of it fitting a DF series Weber...

Thanks JP

This kit is intended for use on a race car engine. Using it on a street car will have some issues. The secondary barrel on your carb is not designed to be open at low engine speeds. The fuel mixture will not be the same as the primary barrel. Depending on the design of the intake manifold it could cause one or more cylinders to run lean or rich. If you want a two barrel carb that opens both at the same time get a 38 DGAS.

This is a great carb. I used one on a old Ford 2.8L V6 inplace of the 32/36 DGV. The one down side of this carb is that the throttle response and power is so much better and you have so much fun driving it that you end up getting lousy gas mileage!

The reason these kits are sold is that in Formula Ford racing you are required to use the 32/36 DGV carb.

I used one of these kits on the 32/36 DGV on my Sprite. BL 1275 engine - 12.5-1 CR - Megadyne 266 cam - mechanical advance recurved distributor - medium big LCB header, 1.75" exhaust.

It ran very well, but was less carb than I built the head for. It's running a 45DCOE w/ 40mm chokes on a 6" Cannon manifold now and is fueling very well and making excellent power.
