So my googlefu is failing me right now but I could have sworn someone posted the STL files to print up AN caps and plugs?

I'm just starting to pull my engine apart to seal up some leaks and really could use some plugs right now.

Thanks

Ballpark cost on -6, -8, -12 to print? Plugs only.

just curious as I've sold a lot of these in steel

They'd be easy to draw, programs like Fusion have thread generators. What kind of plug, flare or o ring or what?

FYI, McMaster has 3D models of basically every fastener they sell.

And voila. Weirdly, the model I pulled off McMaster had a left hand thread. But that's easy to invert in the slicing software.

-6 size. 2g of material, so that's about 4 cents. I wouldn't subject it to pressure but it'll keep crud out.

Now with right hand thread, that actually fits quite well. I might do an air pressure test later just for fun.

In for a fun air pressure test.  Curious to see what happens.

LOL, that'll be interesting!

I did find the files but my printer was being a pita.

Did get a good print after swapping nozzle and filament.

Hi Keith - out of curiousity, what 3D printer was that.  I've fallen so behind on the possibilities for 3D printing.... this is pretty neat!

That was an Ankermake M5, but it would have looked the same on my $175 Ender 3 :) The Anker is fast, though, 8 minutes.
