I went on the internet and found this.
It's a 2wd long bed V6 half ton. There's a 5.9 Magnum donor truck in the driveway.
This picture makes me like the idea of a fast long bed.
Not sure this is more or less stupid than going to New York for a DSM.
Less. This is an awesome idea.
Unless it's a free donor truck. Then it's a stupendous ly awesome idea.
I sent the guy a message.
EDIT: Has anybody brought a full size truck to the challenge yet?
Long bed just adds a couple pounds and makes hanging the tail out laughably easy.
yes, there on one there a couple years ago. Popular rumor is $2017 will have a truck sub-class

Stan brought what looked to be a full size pickup but was actually a Pontiac G body.
Probably way too early to ask this, but anybody have a guess for the FMV on a set of ugly and heavy 20s that happen to be on the donor truck?
(I'll get a better picture in the morning if needed)
I ask because they are here and I think I can fit a lot of tire on them.
You're not selling those rims on CraigsList are you?
Probably not, if they don't go on the white truck they are more than likely staying on the grey one.
EDIT: looks like stock 17x8 Dodge steel wheels are a much more sensible option.
In reply to Chadeux:
I brought a 79 GMC Sierra Shortbox a couple of years ago. I still have it. Possibly may reappear next year with a sub class.
I say go for it! I'm all about the truck sub class. There are plenty out there

Do it, I love performance trucks!

The picture looks like a typical CL add. Blurry and at night.

This interests me. Was just trying to convince my coworker to do this with his Dakota:
Called the guy. Sounds like he thinks the biggest problem the truck has is a locked up power steering pump and wheels that rub the front brake calipers. I'm going to go look at it tomorrow.
Random thought. 90s Dodge truck with a 4/6 drop works in CAM-C? right? Probably no match for the Cobra Mustangs and such, especially not with a driver as green as me, but I'm just looking for places to play.
Well, it's mine. Currently sitting in the guy's driveway waiting for him to get back with a set of 16"s because sadly the sweet ass 15 inch minivan steelies aren't included.
See you at the 2017 Challenge
