Ok, I'm starting a new thread so I'm not reviving a dead one, but I've got a 98 Astro van that for some reason it's stalling randomly, when it runs, it runs great, but it just stall's randomly. Mainly while sitting and idling at a light but it has done it driving down the road. Any theories? where to start? Sometimes it starts right back up, but most of the time it is a royal @#$#$ to restart. Even if it starts, half the time it just stalls again as soon as you drop it into gear. HELP PLEASE!
Have you checked fuel pressure? Usually spark stuff that's related to heat won't just immediately start back up. Those injection setups are pretty particular about getting adequate fuel pressure, even if it's 5 psi below spec they will have issues, particularly on start-up.
