I already have a 302 for the hot-rod MG that I am building. However, I cant help but be interested int eh 4.8 and L33 variants of the LSx family. It's not too late to change.

I keep reading that people buy these for very low cost, at least south of the Canadian border.

Are there any Canadian members who can verify that the same bargoons might be available in Canada? Hints as to where to go looking would be good.

LS engines in general seem to be worth a fortune up here.

Not sure of your locale - but Kenny U Pull franchise wrecking yards are located in Ottawa, Gatineau, Laval, Three Rivers, and Hamilton.
Complete engines are listed as $244 on the Ottawa price list (no difference between engine type).
See www.kennyupull.com for each of the sites. They also list "recent arrivals"...

Good luck

Looks very promising. Interesting how they price all the parts into a group and that is what they are worth? LS! or Honda civic, engine= $250 + $70 core!?

The other good news is that $250 seems to include accessories also. My local yards charge for every nut and bolt, often making the cost of an engine more than the cost of a parts car.
