I actually saw an ad on CL this week that said the vehicle being advertised had "a dent in the rear driver's side". The "dent" was serious accident damage that mangled the left rear of the vehicle (a "S" series Blazer). The rear windows weren't broken, but it wasn't something a body shop could never just "pop out" and/or fill in with a bit of bondo.

Don't overlook the fact that the MGB in the ad still has those rare rear split bumpers. Thats important.

I love it when folks say it JUST needs a "doohickey", they are $15 bucks at AutoZone. Why not plunk down the measley $15 and sell your car/truck that much faster? WHY? Because you have already dumped a ton of money into it to TRY and get it to run long enough to get out of your neighborhood.

Or don't really know and guessing. The guy I bought my Miata off of told me the check engine light was for a transmission range sensor and really only mattered on automatics which this one was a 5-speed manual and the sensor is available at AZ. I fixed the check engine light by splicing the cut wires back together. Also learned to take long test drives as that same Miata started overheating the first time I drove any length of time over 30 minutes. After going through the whole cooling system, a new radiator fixed that.
