Nope, not asking for advice this time, maybe I should be tho. I found these on the local CL and while I guess they COULD belong under a different topic title....I thought more folks might see them and comment.

For less than $7,500 you could have 2 reasonably priced oddities/oddballs.
2nd one is a dealer and the price is the downpayment
I already have one of each :)
The XT6 is nice, but overpriced.
The SVX is not a 93. 93 was the anniversary edition and it was only available in Barcelona Red. Something fishy, you would think the dealer would be able to properly ID the year??
Trap, all SVX's had the 3.3 H6.
Okay, I didn't read the second ad thoroughly enough (I thought $2,500 was a low price for an SVX), so instead of 2 for $7,500 it's 2 for under $10,000. The dealership for the SVX is a newby to CL, and after looking them up in the 'phone book...well, it really is on the "wrong side of the tracks".
And both ads are dealers.
The XT6 is cool but kind of overweight and underpowered. They are worth their weight in gold for parts though; they are the key to running WRX suspension and 5x100 wheels on older Subarus (L-series, Brat etc). The ER27 makes a hell of a noise but at 140-ish HP (?) wasn't exactly a world beater. Really cool air-powered adjustable suspension though.
Always loved the SVX but they tend to rust behind the cladding around here, and I would need to swap one to a manual to really enjoy it. OK to drive, kind of like an SC300.
