I have a customer with a 72 beetle in the shop. We're just doing some tune-up and prettying up. He wants me to find some better wheels for him and I need some suggestions for which wheels and where to find them.

Its a 4-lug. The stock ones are chrome 15" steelies. He was thinking some aluminums might be nice, but other than the porsche wheels and empi's I'm clueless. What should I look for?

empis are good.. porsche wheels are nice. (I like the fuchs wheels that the 914 had as an option. I have also seen spun aluminum wheels.

They also make a plethora of adaptors for VW

Any good sources? This guy doesn't want to drop major coin on something specifically desirable, just something that looks good.

Sadly I just sold a set. Check out the wheels section on the Samba, should be easy to find a set of Rivieras in the $200-$300 range
