You guys waited till the "Underpowered Mazda Thread" to tell me that RX-8 production was ending/has ended? I honestly teared up a little there. Who would do such a thing?
Is THIS the type behavior I can expect when I leave the country?

Sorry you missed it, but it's been a few months now. Were there any 2012s? Don't believe so. Hasn't it been almost a year now since production ended?
In other news, Ferrari no longer builds any cars with a manual transmission.
Dude, you're killing me here. Is there anything else you guys were keeping from me?
I'm going to go buy more beer...
According to the Mayan calendar, this year was "it" for the world (i forget the exact date).
Back to car news...BWM is about to re-introduce/has just introduced the 4 cylinder 3 series to the U.S. market after a long "hiatus". The new 4 cylinder will use a couple of turbos (3? or is it "only" 2?)
In upcoming news, Ford is readying the launch of the C-Max (a sort of Mazda5 type small MPV), a Escape replacement (the 2012 Escape won't have a full year of production), and perhaps in another 2 years a mini-SUV based on the Fiesta....sort of Ford's answer to the Nissan Juke.
Speaking of Nissan, if you want a Cube, dealers have started to get 2012s, but don't expect to see many of them as they seem to have long ago hit a sales peak.
Finally, Mazda is continuing to tease U.S. gearheads with "rumors" of a small diesel in the new CX-5 and one or two other models. The diesel COULD arrive in 12-15 months....or not.
If the world doesn't end on 12/21/2012, Acura may release another NSX in 2013.NSX
