Hello Miata know-it-alls. I have a couple of questions.

Do any of you know what other vehicles fan can fit into the miata's radiator cooling fan shroud. My fan is dead and there are no miata fans in the junkyards around me.

If nothing is an easy and direct fit do any of you know if the auto zone replacements work well?

Thanks in advance, If there is anything else that can help me fix this issue that I have not thought off, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

New parts ($$): http://www.miatamania.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=77584

There's a closeout one on rockauto.com for an automatic for $26.99. I would imagine you could use it on a manual car, but you should ask someone who really knows.

There's no difference between the manual and automatic fans that I know of. Doesn't mean there isn't one, just that I don't know of it...

Just placed an order for the motor. Hopefully it works out. Thanks for the replies and for pointing me to rockauto.

I use the Spal universal fit fans. They work great. Just get the fan mounting tabs and then cut and splice the wires.

I've got a spare A/C fan if you want to see if the part number crosses over. I'm sure the shroud is different, but the fan may be the same.
