Too bad that we're all supposed to despise them around here, because of their prominent roll in getting the new SEMA legislation enacted . . . Factory Five sure puts on a sweet factory tour and produces a wonderful (and affordable) product ! ! ! !

A year or so ago when I toured the FFR facility for the big 818 show, they had a FIA or slab side (I don't know the difference) body upstairs that was commented on, but no details given.
Dave Smith could sell ice to eskimos and have very satisfied customers. (This is a compliment, albiet ever so slightly sideways)

That car is the original "Double Venom" built by Ed "DV" Coombs. He put together a few of them in the early 2000s using a Classic Roadsters chassis and body because they have (actually had, the company is now defunct...again) a stretched wheelbase which allows for the long engine. This particular car was given away in a charity raffle benefiting Cystic Fibrosis in 2004 and has since changed hands a couple of times.

Apparently the slab side looks more like the AC, whereas the FIA has a widebody similar to a 427.
