A funny thing happened

Years ago, when driving to work I saw a first gen. MR2 sitting on blocks in someones driveway. For years it sat like that, then it disapeared, then it appeared that someone was using it, then on blocks again. I always wondered why they never sold it. I've been looking for a winter car so I've been checking CL and taking different routes in the hope of finding something interesting. Well today, I drove down that same road which I haven't been on in years and that MR2 is now for sale after some 15 years. 54,000 miles and 2k. I got to check this out. The MR2 is on my list of cars I wanted to own. Of course, not what I want for a winter car.

For as long as I have lived in the area there has been an old Mercedes parked at an abandoned gas station. I only drive by it occasionally, but over time it has slowly degraded and migrated up onto blocks. I randomly happened across it on Craigslist yesterday for $250. Unfortunately it has no wheels and the floor has probably rotted away.
