I was moving the E21 to storage yesterday, stopped at the gas station.
A young dude with a really clean E46 sedan asked if he could get some pics (shout out to Kristian...).
Pretty cool, and while a lot of younger people don't care to drive, the enthusiast cadre remains.
As for the E21, slowest of all the 3s, like we used to say in bimmerforums, "Respect Your Elders".

Why storage?
ill happily drive it for you to keep it at the ready :)
that was the hot car to have growing up. A few of the older guys in the neighborhood had 323 euro imports.

Nice E21 - glad to see that your forum moniker is still on the road.
The E21 was the first BMW that I fell in love with. And I think they were 99% responsible for the whole Euro-tuner thing. My love for the 2002 came later. I wasn't immediately smitten by the new E30 when it hit the scene either.
E21's were important to my early car-guy self.
An E21 was one of the cars I learned to drive in. Will always have love for them.
I was blown away the first time I saw an E46 M3. I still think they're stunning cars.
Bavaria for me. To just ride in, very cool. My grade six teacher had a brand new one.
I later developed my dislike for German engineers working on the first 530i model.

I just got it up and running in the first time in years.
It's as much fun to drive as I remember.
It needs struts, so when I do that, I'll probably add the front swaybar I got years ago.
Last I looked, they still made B8s for it, but I might monkey with a spacer and Koni Rabbit units.
We'll see.
