And then there was 27.

Time to make an exhaust. And radiator hoses. And make my temp sender and tach work. And all the other associated crap that goes along with an engine swap that takes the most time

Thanks, this threads needs more of that. Sounds a little better than my lawn mower. Next week I'll get one up.

Sorry i couldn't drop in Saturday, wound up getting home at 6am as it was. Knew loading the new car would take a while, didnt count on preseason football traffic on 95 by philly, or a bad trailer light, or a drunk guy sitting on my trailer talking to me about life, while changing trailer light, while drafting fantasy football team, while in the hood after dark in an advance auto/laundromat/weaves&braids/cash4gold parking lot

Story of my life. Got up this morning and put on my garage clothes to drop the exhaust and finish weld it, power went out for a couple hours, now I've got to go to a customer's house. Lost my exhaust weld time, maybe later
I may be able to test drive this week. The stars aligned and all my jobs this week moved to next week.
My fail engine is out, but I'm out of town this week so I will have less than 3 weeks to install the new one. Which I assume works.
Also, I'm in the market for a nitrous system to install in the parking lot. Will trade for a cammed and ported LT1 with heavy rod knock
Going outside with tuning tools shortly, after kids in bed. Also looks like im finally able to use the k&n filter i took out of the trash can in front of advance auto 15 years ago
On berkeleying command, the Snaab appears to be losing the rear axle. 3 weeks before challenge last year it lost the engine.
Got the email about course working. Sounds fair but going to be hard on the one man teams.

Agreed, will make it tough on the one man teams.
That being said it looks like I'll have an extra meal ticket again this year if anyone is interested in "joining" my team at the event.

You can give it to my kid since I delivered your snow tires
Honestly as a one man show I'd prefer to work the course in the first shift so i can have time while autocross wraps up to get car drag ready
I replied to Rick's email saying that maybe one man teams should be exempt from the required autocross work. My first two Challenges were by myself, and it's pretty hard to be a one man team. (We are a two man team, and I'll gladly work a shift.)

FWIW, I have been building this car out of my beach house in NJ and it IS a luxury brand but ALSO decidedly sporty.
