I'm going to order a few of these!
People still use mousepads?
Absolutely! Though I'm probably due for an upgrade before too long. Mine has a 911 GT3 on it, and was part of a press goodie bag when the car was brand new. But it's a 997 chassis....
I love a good mousepad......
i have this on a hoodie, its great and GRM's swag is top shelf stuff, that hoodie has held up very well.

Some surfaces don't play nice with optical mice, if you have a glass desk you definitely still use a mousepad.
Reminds me of a previous job where we had to order some spare mousepads, some ball mice were still kicking around then and some of the desks didn't play nice with optical mice either. So my boss called up one of our usual suppliers, a nearby computer store, for some mousepads.
"Does it matter what's on them?"
"No, doesn't matter, anything will do"
A few days later, we get a delivery of mousepads with some, uh, scantily clad women on them. Those ones stayed packed away in the server room the whole time I worked there

In reply to TravisTheHuman :
I have two extra-large ones on my desk that take up the whole surface, haha. I like the designs, plus they make my desk kind of soft.
In reply to Paris Van Gorder :
You know, I'd love a desk where the top is just one big mouse pad.
In reply to Colin Wood :
My parents got me a desk pad a few years ago for Christmas and I didn't think I would like it. Now I cant see how I lived without one, almost my entire desk is mouse pad and its great.
Nothing worse than falling off the end of your mouse pad.

if you call out that you didn't specify what "extra-large ones" is, and then you add to it the story about the content on GameboyRMH's mouse pads post your post gets that much funnier...
So may I assume that a desk-size version of this mouse pad is "in the works?"

Back in my day, the optical mice for your Sparcstation required a very specific matched and calibrated mouse pad with a grid pattern on it! None of this whimsy!

I do.
My blotter pad is graph paper. It drives my mouse nuts.
I tried just moving the mouse to the desk but my desk has a line around the perimeter that transitions from wood to some kind of infill. The mouse freezes every time it crosses the line.
My mouse pad is blank and 24" x 18". It gets the job done.
