I see there is an upcoming autocross event this weekend. I was wondering what Karts are eligible to compete because this would be my first time competing and i have a KT100 Sprint Kart which i dont think is eligible. If not, ill go down just to spectate...
Depends on the club and the site. I'd contact the host club for the answer.
don't know about Kart eligibility, but I will be there too...I'll be wearing a grey polo (says Detroit Region 60th anniversary on it), and an O'Neill Floppy Hat...hard to miss.
anyone that is going, say hi.
Depends on the club, like David said.
Most SCCA clubs allow them but some local clubs have trouble with the necessary insurance needed for the Karts.
Good luck though. If you autocross a car after a kart it feels like slow motion.
sooo coool!
As Atlanta is one of the larger regions, i know they allow carts.. Dont know if they allow 100's.
ya, it would be the Atlanta region SCCA, they are having a AutoX in the Turner Field parking lot this saturday and i just wanted to get out there and fire up the ol girl, thanks for the info guys!

Our club allows them. I think there was a KT100 at the last event. If registration is low, they basically won't turn anyone away... You do need to make sure you have full safety gear: jacket, gloves, etc...
ya, have everything to compete with - helmet, neck brace, gloves, ect. i just hope the battery on the starter will be good enough to get it to fire...
