A series with K series head

Anyone know about the swap (BL A-series with BMW K-series head)? My Google skills are failing me.

Awesome couldn't find that any where.

I'd have to dig deeper into my bookmarks, but there are a couple of build threads between Mini and Sprite guys. Seems to me that the only downside is cost, which is pretty off-putting.

A K100 head Westie XI is on my "someday" list.

http://www.efi-minis.com/ is sort of the main K100 swappers forum. Lots of build there from mega awesome CNC'ed everything to pre-fab kits to made in a shed with hand tools type stuff.

http://www.lojomo.com seems to be down right now but is detail of the first ever K100 swap during its teardown after many hard miles.

Is it only the head from the K100 or are there any other K-series heads which fit?

I think the later 4 cyl heads fit too. K1100 etc.

IIRC K1100 heads fit the 1275 blocks K100 for the 998's.
