In reply to ReverendDexter:
1) Curb weight is between 1,910–2,160 lb, depending on model.
2) Top Gear says the 500 Abarth SS makes 160hp.

Looks like fun!
Abarth produced this version of the Fiat 850 coupe and designated it the OT2000.
The DNA runs deep in Abarth-land.

Holy crap! I might actually have to break my no-FWD rule, hahaha.
I race against a "real" one quite regularly. Our cars seem to be pretty well matched. Great fun!

Found out a little more about the Abarth's weight: it's actually 2,282lb according to this C&D article. Which is still really freaking light compared to most cars on this side of the pond. I hope it doesn't gain too much weight once the inevitable government-mandated life-raft's worth of airbags is stuffed into it.

That's some sweet in-car video, cool-airplane guy! The Abarth really put up a good fight, but your persistence prevailed.
Looks like that Saab resolved its' problems from practice and qualifying; that driver was flying through the field.
What was the final result in your battle with the Elva?

Haha. Yeah that ~was~ fun. That Elva is a 1500 and he should murder me, but I passed him soon after (several other Elvas in that session ran away from me).
I think that "Saab" is a Volvo PV. But yeah, he has a great motor in that thing. Fun to follow in turns, but on the straight, it rockets away from me.
There are three Abarths I run with....all are fun to dice with.
If they bring that car here I will have to think very hard about breaking my "no new car: rule, very cool.
Hey! I saw that same PV at the Jefferson 500 last Spring.
Also, here is a still photo of the PV that's seen in the video link above. She is a Foxy Swede!
