Couldn't believe it. I'm trying to remember the last time I saw a 323 GTX. Hmmm, oh yeah, never. Even back when they were new I never saw one on the road.

I've briefly owned a few of these, kinda cool to see one today.

There's a lovely copper one that lives somewhere in the GTA, and I've managed to spot it twice. Rare to see one that's not rotten.

That car came out during my freshman year of college, and I wanted one soooooo badly. At the time, though, all I could afford were some Chuck Taylors--couldn't even afford Vans at the time.

I know of a really nice one for sale at about 1.5x Challenge Price if anyone's interested. SLC.

Hmmm, send me the info Keith. Been awhile since I've had one in the garage, would be fun to have one again.

I'm always amazed at how many rust free cars are found in the wet PNW - I see GTXs pretty frequently. Here is one near my work: GTX on CL

If you listen quietly, You can actually hear the (working, not-yet-exploded) transmission getting more and more rare with each second.

And the t-case, and the hubs, and the.. and the.. tc etc etc etc etc...

I would never ever own one of these cars in this day and age.

My dad is building one for the $2013. I should start a build thread for him. He got it for under a grand and was hoping to keep it under $1000, but it might not happen depending on how much of the previous owner's malpractice needs fixing. It's definitely rough around the edges, but runs and drives. It doesn't have any rust whatsoever from what I saw. We found out why the car was driving so poorly when we found the VJ11 turbo swapped onto it was crushing the wastegate actuator against the block so the wastegate was stuck closed!

For those that think the transmissions are rare...buy these:

I really wanted one. Even found one that was rally prepped for cheap but the replacing the diffs and transfer case etc stuff is an issue

Well I'm in Denver CO, a place where a lot of them are kicking around and this is the first one I've seen driving around here in 9 years that wasn't mine.

Keith, I emailled that fellow in SLC yesterday but haven't heard back from him...

My responsibility is done. I also gave you a phone number, didn't I? I know it was still up for sale last week, and it's been for sale since August. The car may have come from Denver, I know a big parts and car stash was broken up there a few years back. I got one of them.

I see one in my yard every day!

Mine was both a Challenger, AND a daily driver!
