I am using these on my challenge car. How bad would it be to drive them down? Not a lot of space in the car to haul extra tires. Or would it be better on non driven axel for trip that way I only haul 2.

Most tire manufacturers say do not use a 10 year old tire, yokohama included.

These tire look perfect zero dry rot. I have some tires that are less than 3yrs old and have dry rot now. The advans are not as soft as they were though. I need to use them up.

I ran a set from 01 a couple of weeks ago. They were still unused in 2011, and I've run them a couple times since then...They were great.

I used to use those as track tires back around the time those were made. They were loud, darty and would make you think you had 4 bad wheel bearings when they were new if you couldn't get them hot.

I imagine the street manners are not significantly improved with time.

If they were stored indoors they are probably fine to use as far as safety. I doubt they will perform as-new but I would definitely try them if I already had them sitting around.

Took the tires for a test drive. I think they are too hard to be of any advantage. the car breaks traction from first to second gear change in a auto.
