Aftermarket, add-on backup cameras

Probably just a bad unit.  Mine have been fine through numerous days of rainy travel.

Glad the seller is still responsive to customer service issues! 

I have the cheapest 5* reviewed license plate frame camera from Amazon hooked up to a double din Kenwood in my truck and it works really well.

I do not have it wired up yet, but hope to this week when I get the new radio in:

So any new contenders in the backup camera game? 

I'd consider a double din head unit with screen to be the monitor, but I've been seeing the full on mirror replacement ones that use the whole mirror as a screen when turned on and those look pretty nice too

Also curious what add-on models everyone is using. My oldest is approaching driving age, and the vehicle he'll likely drive is going to need one soon.
